Family-friendly evening road race in Downtown Pittsburgh challenges runners of all ages and abilities to run their fastest mile on Aug. 9
PITTSBURGH (August 6, 2019) - P3R announced today street closures related to the 2019 Fleet Feet Liberty Mile
, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 9. The one-mile evening road race showcases a variety of fitness levels, from first-time runners to Olympians, and is consistently named “one of America’s most iconic races” by Runners World.
Downtown closures for the race will start at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9. The race begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. Parking lots will not have access onto Liberty Avenue or Penn Avenue between Stanwix St. and 11th Street. Parking on Liberty Avenue or Penn Avenue will not be available after 4:00 p.m. Roads are expected to reopen by 9:00 p.m. To view a course map, click here
